Key Things to Watch For in the Quarter
Twilio went public a year ago at $15, and currently trades up 125% from its IPO price at $34. In the first few months of trading the markets were all over Twilio, driving its price up to $71. It has since fallen from its 52-week high by about 50% and has recently shown support in the $27 range. We cannot compare analyst estimates for 1Q17 to 1Q16 as the company was not yet public, however in comparison to the first three quarters of Twilio’s time as a public company analysts estimate that Twilio will report strong revenues, and a reduction in the earnings deficit. We continue to expect big things from this company. Watch the revenue picture here closely. We expect $370 million for 2017 and are hopeful for $500 million in 2018.
